The HAART Survivor Advisory Board was launched in 2023. Following intense cooperation with participants of the HAART Survivor Leadership Program, the Board is considered a milestone for the organization and the movement. It not only advises HAART but is accessible for stakeholders across the movement. The Survivor Advisory Board makes it easy to seek guidance from experts with lived experience.
With the Survivor Advisory Board creating systematic space for experts with lived experience, we remain dedicated to the inclusion of multiple survivor perspectives in the movement. Within the Survivor Leadership Program, we support survivor-led activities, assist in their implementation, and offer individual and group capacity building according to self-identified needs. In our daily external engagements, we create opportunities for survivor advocates to share their expertise and recommendations with the public and with policymakers.
