Christine Mangwana
Christine Mangwana is a Deputy Chief State Counsel at the State Department for Correctional Service, where she advises the State Department on legislative and other legal matters pertaining to the Constitution, international law, human rights, consumer protection and legal aid. Previously, Christine has acted as the Senior Legal Officer at the Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority where she was the acting Head of Legal Department and facilitated operations of the Board by Reviewing and advising the management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures. She holds a Master of Arts in International Conflict Management from the University of Nairobi as well as a Bachelor of Law from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. She is a Certified Secretary and has been an advocate of the High Court of Kenya since 2007. As the Chairperson volunteering to the HAART Board of Directors, she is directing the work of the Board of HAART, supervising the CEO, and representing the Organisation in various meetings.
